Is Jesus God? Is Jesus a man? Or is Jesus something else?
There have been people who have claimed that Jesus was but a human prophet and
not God. There have those who claim that Jesus was a lunatic. And there have
been those who have claimed that Jesus was just an enlightened person and not
God. There are many claims of who Jesus was. One of course, the less popular
belief is that Jesus was in fact all God and All man, come to die for the world,
rise again, and soon judge the whole world.

Was Jesus just a human and nothing more. Let us take a look
at this claim.

So, could it be possible that Jesus was just a prophet,
teacher, lunatic, or enlightened being and not God? No, not at all. While Jesus did prophesy and did teach He was not just a human teacher. You see
Jesus had to be God to say this.

And when he returned to Capernaum after some
days, it was reported that he was at home. And many were gathered together, so
that there was no more room, not even at the door. And he was preaching the
word to them. And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.
And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the
roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on
which the paralytic lay. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,
“Son,
your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there,
questioning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak like that? He is
blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” And immediately Jesus,
perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to
them, “Why do you question these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say
to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed
and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to
forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic— “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed,
and go home.” And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before
them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw
anything like this!”

your friend cannot truly forgive someone for wronging you so a person cannot
forgive someone for wronging God.

God can forgive people for wronging Him. And so, for Jesus to forgive this
man’s sins he had to be God. And the thing was Jesus was all God, and Jesus was
all human. You see He had to be all God to forgive sins against God and he had
to be all human to live a perfect life and take on all of the world’s sins.

Jesus is a part of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. This means that Jesus is in fact equal with God because He is in fact God.
And the thing is Jesus was not, JESUS IS. He died for our
sins and rose from the grave defeating death. Jesus is still alive today in
heaven.

If you will accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, confess
and turn from your sins, and then seek God and have a real relationship with
Him then you can join Him in heaven someday.
