PBR Results UTB in Georgia and Velocity Tour in Maine
DULUTH, Georgia – The PBR Unleash the Beast Monster Energy
Series, the top level of the PBR bull riding events, was held in Duluth Georgia
last weekend. Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do
Rio Pardo, Brazil) was one of four riders to go 3-for-3, resulting in his winning the event.
Round One – Leme vs Slinger (Torres Brothers Bucking Bulls
LLC) 85.25 points
Round Two – Leme vs Texas Comfort Air’s First Blood (Cooper/Scruggs
Bucking Bulls) 87.75 points to win the round
Championship Round – Leme vs Big Black (K-C Bucking
Bulls/Joe & Nina Webb) 91.25 points to win the round
Insight:
Big Black’s last four outs resulted in 90
points rides by Ryan Dirteater, Chase Outlaw, and J.B. Mauney.
Leme leads the PBR in round wins with five.
This is Leme’s fourth 90-point ride of the season.
Leme leads the league in the most 90-point rides in the UTB so
far in 2019.
Leme is 22 years old.
He earned $39,050 and 600 world points at the Duluth, Georgia event.
Leme went into the event in 5th place in the
world and is now ranked No. 3 with only 335.84 points separating him and No. 1
Jess Lockwood.

Bucking Bull Champion
Preachers Kid, owned by RD Cattle/K-C Bucking Bulls, won his
first YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event honor.
Championship Round Preachers Kid vs Stormy Wing. The bull
was marked 46 pts and bucked off Wing at the 2.61-second mark.
PBR Pendelton Whisky Velocity Tour
Australian Lawson Nobbs (Moura, Queensland) won his
first-ever Velocity Tour event in Bangor, Maine. He went a perfect 4-for-4
and made his first 90-point ride of his career to win the event.
Nobbs won $7,950 and 170 world points bumping him up to No.
44 in the world. He is now given the opportunity to compete in a PBR UTB event
in Billings, MT April 12-14.
