The saying that rodeo is in someone’s blood rings true for the Mortensen family. Judd Mortensen, the producer of numerous PBR Touring Pro Division events has been in the industry his entire life. He rode for eight years in the PBR and qualified for two PBR World Finals. His wife, Annie, says, “He lives, he breathes bull riding…” After retiring from bull riding in 2006, Judd Mortensen began producing numerous successful events. With a hard work ethic, honest approach, and a fearless attitude he leads his team of event employees, professional participants, stock contractors, and local businesses and sponsors. He is very frugal when it comes to budget and money expenses, without a loss of quality.

Annie Mortensen’s father, JC Trujillo, is a well-known Rodeo Hall of Fame member. JC Trujillo qualified for the National Finals Rodeo twelve times before being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1994. He was a World Champion bareback rider. As with most rodeo participants, they always have their hand in the industry so today you will find Mr. Trujillo filling the position of general manager of Prescott’s World’s Oldest Rodeo. Judd and Annie’s sons are also following their in their father’s footsteps with mini bull riding events.

As you can see by the list below, Mortensen in no amateur. In fact, he is extremely successful in all aspects of bull riding and event production.
